Responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and refine avionics system requirements.
Support design, development, and testing activities for avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and control systems.
Perform system-level integration, troubleshooting, and validation of avionics systems.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and aviation regulations.
Develop and review technical documentation and provide expertise during the certification process.
Desirable
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Working knowledge of certification authorities and experience navigating the certification process.
Location
Primarily onsite work with flexibility to travel to international locations as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Avionics Systems Engineering.
Strong knowledge of ARP4754 and understanding of ARP4761.
Experience with avionics system development guidelines and regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
Knowledge of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and control systems.
A proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a multilingual environment.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and effective time management.
