We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Flight Mechanics Engineer to join our Flight Sciences Team. The role is multi-disciplinary and applicants must have a passion for new technology whilst working in a lean environment to help achieve program objectives and help to our clients deliver a range of certified eVTOLs and electrified regional aircraft into the Advanced Air Mobility Eco-System.

The role requires knowledge across all aspects of Flight Mechanics (Flight Characteristics) analysis for

manned Air Mobility products, including :

Define, develop, and implement the environment, design requirements, models, and tools for Flight Mechanics analysis,
Perform 6 degree-of-freedom simulations to predict flight characteristics and handling qualities; evaluate flight dynamics and flight mechanics analysis for different aircraft types (rotary-wing and fixed-wing)
Preparation of Flight Test Plan and Certification Test Plan
Integration is a critical aspect of the role and will require interfacing with many disciplines, including Aerodynamics, Simulation, Flight Controls, Tests (rigs, ground, and flight), requirements management, and all activities associated with achieving certification.

The successful candidate will form a part of a small technical team and requires good interpersonal skills (in a multilingual environment), a strong work ethic, efficient self-management, and passion to learn new skills and help develop others.
