Today we welcome our third intern of the Summer 2024 program, Kardelen Bolat, who is a senior in the Aerospace Engineering program at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi! 

Kardelen brings a wealth of experience from her previous internships and candidate engineering roles at TUSAŞ, where she worked with the aeroelastics teams on the VLA and ASOJ projects. Additionally, she gained valuable experience as an intern at the military helicopter maintenance base. She has a passion for aeroelastics and will be joining our loads and aeroelastics team under the mentorship of Burak KESKİN and Murat Aydın.

Kardelen has demonstrated impressive leadership skills by leading the aeroelastics team in the VLA project. Her curiosity and dedication to technological advancement are evident in her work with Assist. Prof. Dr. Görkem Eğemen Güloğlu on composite manufacturing in her department. She also serves as an administrative member for training under the METU Aerospace Society.

She is an excellent team player with strong adaptability and communication skills, which is why we are excited to have her on board. In her spare time, Kardelen enjoys attending theater and concerts and loves to sing.

We are excited to see how we can impact her career going forward following this short internship.
