This time last year, on 6 February 2023, around 04:17 am, Turkey and Syria were hit by a devastating earthquake, and subsequent aftershocks that forever changed life as we know it in these regions.

Families shattered, cities decimated, and the recovery from the aftermath continues.

As we pay our respects to the past, let us also commit ourselves to building a more resilient and prepared future. May the lessons learned from these challenging experiences guide us in creating safer and more secure environments for all.We remember those who died with mercy and respect.
